About Us

Moving Forward Sudan began in 2013 after being inspired by the new wave of creativity, advocacy, and excellence in Sudan. At Moving Forward Sudan, we are working to create a network of professionals that are motivated to serve the Sudanese-American community in the DMV (D.C., Maryland, and Virginia). We are developing programs and services in the fields of education, career development, mentorship, and more, to benefit our community. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “If you can't fly then run if you can't run then walk if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” We hope to see a thriving, prosperous Sudanese Diaspora, and continue to move forward.
